Responsibilities:

About our Staff Dietitians:

Nutritional care at OSUP is individualized and based on the nutritional requirements of the patient which is why our Staff Dietitian role is a critical part of the patient’s health care team.

Outpatient Staff Dietitians are responsible for providing nutritional care to patients that may include nutrition assessment and care plan development and ongoing nutrition counseling and diet education according to department and medical center policies and procedures.

Outpatient Staff Dietitians organize their work and set priorities to plan programs to meet the nutrition and customer service needs of the patient population they serve. They work collaboratively with clinic staff to identify nutrition priorities, develop outreach activities and complete nutrition program planning within the clinics they serve.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Registered and licensed (state of Ohio) dietitian. Previous work experience as a dietitian is required. Specialty certification in area of practice where available preferred.

Dietitians should have superior interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Strong customer service skills and high emotional intelligence are preferred.

Candidates should demonstrate a high level of professional integrity and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and be eager to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft products required.

Prior experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Must be willing to travel between different locations.

Pay Range:

USD $25.10 - USD $37.65 /Hr.
