As our Human Resources Generalist, you will be a part of a knowledgeable and well-diverse team who loves to have fun and get stuff done! You will play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and various other administrative duties. You’ll enjoy working in a fun, collaborative, and fast (high-mix/low-volume) manufacturing operation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
5 years of experience in HR-related fields or equivalent education required
Knowledge of HR processes and best practices for the state of California
Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese is strongly preferred
Experience with HR databases

What will you be Accountable for?
Support recruiting efforts- work closely with HRBP and Talent Acquisition to source for open positions and promote open roles internally
Responsible for the hiring process- run background checks, complete new hire paperwork with employees, present HR policies during orientation, submit IT tickets for new employee requests, enter new hires into the payroll system, submit new cases to E-Verify, etc.
Maintain our training matrix with completed HR trainings
Assist with running certain reports for bonuses and attendance
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and strategies
File and maintain employee personnel documents
Assist Accounting with admin payroll functions such as organizing and distributing timesheets, pay stubs, and scanning payroll files
Engage our employees through internal communications
Respond to HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
Support the disciplinary/termination process by submitting tickets to IT, payroll, etc.
Assist in employee investigations for ER issues, disciplinary action, employee grievances
Assist employees with questions on benefits, payroll, and other items
Other duties as assigned
