Supply Chain Analyst

Our client, a leading gas and energy company is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Columbus, OH!

**This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits**

As the Supply Chain Analyst of Indirect Programs, you will report to the Indirect Supply Chain Director within the Supply Chain organization and will be responsible for managing internal Indirect supplier, project, and customer service programs as assigned.

This role will also be responsible for supporting the Category Director, Managers, and Leads with operational and project support requirements as needed.

Responsibilities:

Act as primary Indirect Supply Chain operational contact for categories and commodities which Supply Chain maintains both Sourcing and Operational responsibilities:

Travel programs, Office supplies, promotional items, credit card spend compliance, and employee discount programs

Act as liaison between NiSource internal resources and supplier customer service and technical services support

Manage price updates and data integrity for contract rate sheets

Build partnerships with business stakeholders through effective communication and execution

Desired Skills:

Bachelor's Degree or minimum of two years experience in Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Sourcing - Strong financial and business acumen

Ability to analyze information and provide insight and recommendations

Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Prior experience in the Utility Industry
