Description

To lead the entire agency's diverse Marketing and social media needs, ensure the community is informed of BBBSCO causing excitement about our work, and keep BBBSCO positioned as the leader in the field of mentoring in Central Ohio.

Position Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Develop and execute comprehensive communications and marketing strategies aligned with BBBSCO's strategic plan.

• Manage BBBSCO's branding, marketing, communications, social media, public relations, and advertising endeavors.

• Create and implement social media campaigns to support recruitment, enhance brand visibility, and foster donor engagement.

• Craft messaging that reinforces the BBBSCO brand identity and effectively communicates the agency's narrative across all communication channels and events.

• Prepare compelling scripts and design PowerPoint presentations for key leadership engagements.

• Collaborate with agency leaders to manage communication strategies during both crisis situations and opportunities.

• Efficiently manage internal and external resources essential for the successful implementation of marketing and communication strategies.

• Manage external marketing agency partnerships to ensure alignment with BBBSCO's objectives.

• Maintain and optimize digital channels, including websites and social media platforms.

• Work closely with the Impact department to incorporate data insights into presentations and proposals.

• Uphold Big Brothers Big Sisters of America's branding standards and cultivate brand-centric culture within BBBSCO.

• Stay abreast of emerging social media platforms and management tools to capitalize on new opportunities.

• Market BBBSCO's special events to the public through targeted marketing efforts.

• Manage the production of printed materials, promotional items, stakeholder reports, etc.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with PR/media contacts for special events coverage and promotions.

• Develop internal and external communications, including emails, text messages, robocalls, mailings, and newsletters, ensuring clarity and consistency.

• Ensure compliance with photography release protocols and appropriate use of images of children.

• Design and standardize flyer templates for agency staff to utilize for events.

• Develop and distribute The BIG News newsletter to stakeholders.

• Maintain accuracy and relevance of marketing distribution lists.

• Manage marketing interns to maximize their contribution to BBBSCO's objectives.

Requirements

Must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of successful marketing experience.

Ability to prepare high quality graphic design projects that meet brand standards.

Experience working in Canva or other design platforms.

Be willing and able to work 45-50 hours per week when necessary.

Be willing and able to travel when necessary.

Be willing and able to work with diverse populations in diverse territories.

Be available to attend events in the early morning, evening, and weekends, on occasion.
