About this Position:
As a Porter / Lot Technician, you will be responsible for moving and cleaning vehicles, maintaining the appearance of the lot, and performing various errands for the dealership.
Responsibilities include:
Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, parking lots, and property locations as needed
Delivers cars to customers
Maintains clean and orderly car lot as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards
Maintains new and used vehicle inventory appearance
Cleans interior and exterior of vehicles
Completes tire pressure checks, battery tests, checking/filling of fluids as needed and maintaining vehicles
Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
Cleans lot, driveways, and sidewalks as needed
Makes key tags for vehicles
Inspects new and used inventory for damage
Runs various errands for the dealership
Contributes to achievement of CPI/NPS targets
Must be available to work Saturdays
Stays current on required manufacturing training
Required Work Experience:
Experienced in vehicle operation - manual, automatic, electrified
Understands the importance of customer service
Transportation / Logistics experience is a plus
Required Education/License/Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
