SWACO is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key role in securing funding for our critical programs by identifying grant opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and building relationships with funders.

What You'll Do:

Be a grant detective! Uncover new funding opportunities from government agencies, corporations, foundations, and private donors that align with SWACO's goals.

Become a grant writing whiz! Develop high-quality proposals, applications, and supporting documents that clearly communicate the value of our programs.

Build bridges with funders! Represent SWACO as a liaison, fostering positive relationships with grant agencies and organizations.

Track your progress! Monitor submitted proposals and follow up to ensure they receive the attention they deserve.

Be a budgeting pro! Create clear and concise budgets for proposals, projects, and related initiatives.

Collaborate with the best! Meet with staff regularly to discuss current and upcoming programs, ensuring proposals reflect our collective expertise.

Stay on top of your game! Track and analyze proposal metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Lend a helping hand! Assist the Accounting and Finance department with routine tasks to support departmental goals. Why You'll Love Working Here:

A bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience as a grant writer, preferably for a public organization.

Strong research, writing, and communication skills (written and verbal).

The ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
