As a Senior Financial Analyst in Corporate Topline, you will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager of the FP&A Corporate Topline team. Your primary responsibility will be supporting top-line planning at the corporate level. This role holds significant prominence within the organization and involves close collaboration with senior business leaders company-wide. Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $111,800 - $149,100

Zone B: $100,700 - $134,200

Zone C: $92,800 - $123,800

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll get to:

With your robust financial and analytical background, you will collaborate with senior leaders across the company and the wider finance team to drive insights into the company's Topline performance and support informed decision-making through both our regular reporting cadence and on an ad-hoc basis.

You will also assume a pivotal role in the corporate Topline planning process, including Quarterly Rolling Forecasts, Long Range Plan, and more. Through this work, you will empower both our finance team and other business leaders to manage their business from a topline perspective.

You will work on projects to support continuous improvement of our processes and bring fresh ideas to help us work smarter and better as our business continues to grow in complexity.

You will develop a deep understanding of the key drivers of the Atlassian business and be able to influence them.

You will also work closely cross-functionally with the broader finance teams (IR, Controllership, Treasury, Accounting, etc.), program management, analytics and strategy teams.

Qualifications:

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

5+ years of experience in a financial/analytical role in tech (in particular Software / SaaS), consulting, or investment banking.

Extensive experience with Corporate or Topline FP&A and managing/tracking SaaS business metrics.

Hands-on experience and strong skills in planning and bookings/revenue forecasting, interpreting and reporting business performance results.

Excellent organization skills and experience managing projects with a wide range of stakeholders.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain financial data to non-finance partners.

Ability to draw upon insights and tell a compelling story involving business metrics to help influence key decisions.

A curiosity to learn and take initiative to tackle problems independently.

Strong critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Attention to detail, with high executive-level visibility of work.

Nice to Haves:

Exposure to working with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan)

Knowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau)

Hold a degree in Business, Economics or Finance
