Journeyman Electrician (JSET)

JSET Automated Technologies is an innovative and fast-paced company. We have grown tremendously and now we're looking for the right individuals to take it to the next level. We specialize in Building Management Systems, but we desire a Journeyman Electrician to help with the installation of these systems.

What you will do…

• Bend and install rigid conduit

• Set up and pull wire and cable

• Analyzes blueprints, schematics, and drawings of electrical systems for the purpose of determining the efficient installation of new or upgraded systems

• Perform structured cabling (Cat5 and Cat6), fiber optic installation, and terminations and repair functions

• Install and troubleshoot PLC's, HMI’s

• Pull and terminate cat-5 and cat-6 phone and data cabling

• Trim plates, connections for cat5, coax, and security

• Build MDF and IDF closets and pull and terminate copper and fiber

• Manage devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, and WAP

• Able to safely work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or man lifts

• Stand, walk, sit, kneel, and walk up or down stairs on a regular basis; climb up and down ladders up to 35 feet high repeatedly on a shift

What you will need to succeed…

• Proven experience in electrical field

• Must be safety conscious

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook applications

• Possess strong organizational and time management skills

• Working knowledge of TIA and BICSI Standards

Minimum Qualifications…

• Experience working in Mission Critical environments such as Data Centers

• Ability to use and perform a wide variety of electrical tool and techniques

• Ability to interpret Electrical blueprints and schematics

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Valid Drivers License
