LUMBER/SALES POSITION

Frazier Park Ace Hardware is focused on providing world class service to our customers and our employees. We thrive in a fun and challenging environment. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Lumber Yard Associate who will also work part-time in our store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers in the lumber yard with loading and unloading materials.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lumber yard.

Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.

Provide assistance to customers in the store, including answering questions and helping them find products.

Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels.

Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.

Ensure a positive customer experience by providing excellent service.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a lumber yard or similar environment a plus.

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in all weather conditions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Forklift certification is a plus or willing to learn.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
