Revenue Management Administrative Assistant

Job Description:

Handle Authorization of Release (AOR) emails sent by billing company promptly, facilitating the signing process through DocuSign to streamline procedures.

Collaborate with the 3rd party billing company to address and resolve pending claims effectively, ensuring timely reimbursement

Address inquiries from patients regarding termed, COBRA, or COB (Coordination of Benefits) matters promptly and professionally.

Collaborate with team members to manage Pay-to-Patient (P2P) processes using Google Spreadsheets, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Investigate and resolve declined payment issues efficiently, coordinating with relevant parties to ensure successful transactions.

Continuously update attendance sheets based on new admissions for each GRN facility

Final review of attendance vs. billing to ensure accurate claims submissions

Identify missed payments by admissions and provide support/follow up

Assist DRM in identifying missed billing opportunities and work collaboratively with GRN facilities to make appropriate billing corrections

Monitor authorizations and communicate with DRM to ensure revenue is being collected for denied days

Process room and board payments Qualifications:

Previous experience in collections, preferably within the healthcare or mental health industry.

Proficiency in utilizing CMD, Monday and Salesforce systems as well as Google Spreadsheets for financial management tasks.

Proficiency in navigating billing procedures and comprehending insurance benefits within the context of behavioral health.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with patients and colleagues.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial records and documentation.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of patient privacy regulations, such as HIPAA, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Empathy and sensitivity towards individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorder and Mental Health concerns.
