Junior Scheduler

Overview:

MBP is looking for a Junior Scheduler in the eastern portion of the US with experience providing schedule development and/or review services on construction projects. Proficient in Oracle P6 and experienced with Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities:

Main Duties:

· Performs reviews of contractor-submitted baseline and periodic schedule updates for compliance with the specification and overall reasonableness.

· Provides schedule development and updates services for contractors.

· Assist with developing and/or reviewing time extension requests.

· Assists with the development and/or analysis of post-construction delay analyses.

· Analyze drawings, specifications, and statement of work in preparation for schedule review services.

· Evaluate the actual construction status relative to the proposed plan.

· Analyze and communicate the impact of changes to the schedule.

· Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications:

Education

· Undergraduate degree.

· 2+ years of scheduling experience on construction projects.

Skills and Abilities

· Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.

· Detail oriented and can manage multiple priorities.

· Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships.

· Ability to interface and effectively communicate with others.

· Understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques

· Proficiency in Primavera (P6) software.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
