Job Description: The Forecasting Director is accountable for leading the forecasting process. As a thought partner and in-house consultant, you will develop product-specific short-term and long-term patient flow forecasts and provide critical insights into market risks & opportunities that may impact performance to ultimately help guide commercial strategy and decision-making. You will drive seamless collaboration with your Franchise Insights and Analytics colleagues, which is crucial to delivering actionable insights to the business. You will partner closely with marketing, finance, and other functions to ensure alignment on forecast assumptions and other critical analytical assessments. Keys to success are superlative communication, consultative, and influencing skills predicated on a strong foundation of forecasting expertise, quantitative technical skills, and proficiency in interpreting primary market research and secondary data analyses. Additionally, you will help to mentor and train a forecasting & performance talent pipeline. This position reports to the Senior Director, Head of the US Oncology Forecasting & Performance Analytics CoE.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and lead product-specific forecasting models.

Identify business issues affecting portfolio growth and maintenance.

Monitor the competitive landscape and market trends.

Develop a team and deliver clear, insightful presentations.

Collaborate with various collaborators and seek process efficiencies.

Requirements:

BA/BS degree in relevant area of study.

Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry, or management consulting experience

5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or life science forecasting.

Ability to understand and interpret information from pharmaceutical data sources (IMS, IQVIA, claims, etc.) and other epidemiological data (Kantar, DRG).

Expertise in building forecast models, forecasting techniques, and managing assumption evaluation to optimize business outputs and drive business decision models for marketed and/or pre-launch pharmaceutical products, requiring minimal to no supervision.

Strong interpersonal skills and time management; ability to manage a diverse range of simultaneous projects.

Previous experience collaborating with franchise leadership to gain forecast alignment and consensus.

Mastery of Microsoft Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint.

Occasional travel may be required.
