We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 5-9 years of experience specializing in Machine Learning and AI&ML Concepts. This role involves developing innovative solutions and improving our applications intelligence contributing significantly to our mission of leveraging technology for societal benefit.

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of machine learning models to solve complex problems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into our products.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.

Optimize existing machine learning models for better efficiency and accuracy.

Conduct data analysis and feature engineering to improve model performance.

Implement best practices in ML Ops to streamline the deployment of AI models.

Provide mentorship to junior developers on machine learning techniques and best practices.

Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and deliver AI-driven solutions.

Ensure the reliability and scalability of AI systems.

Utilize cloud-based machine learning services such as Google Cloud-Machine Learning for model training and deployment.

Explore and implement advanced AI technologies such as Generative AI to enhance product capabilities.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.

Strong understanding of AI&ML Concepts.

Proficiency in programming languages relevant to AI and machine learning.

Experience with cloud services particularly Google Cloud-Machine Learning is highly desirable.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of ML Ops practices and tools such as MLFlow and Airflow.

Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication skills both written and verbal.

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
