Global Technology Watch Support

GridironIT is seeking a Global Technology Watch Support Analyst local to the DC area.

Secret clearance is required.

The Contractor shall provide support to OSI&A's Technology Watch and Forecasting program to identify promising near-term technology solutions to complex DoD challenges. The support activities include:

Conduct targeted, detailed analysis of the state-of-the-science for emerging technologies of military significance.

Identify potential game-changer technologies with commercial and defense applications in development outside of U.S. Government-funded initiatives.

Engage with a broad range of technology innovation ecosystems with the potential to accelerate technological advancements and acquisition processes.

Create decision-support products for OUSD(R&E) and DoD executive-level stakeholders, to include briefings, white papers, reports, and talking points, assessing the future technology landscape, HQ003422R0279 Page 23 of 61 identifying potential technology game changers, and providing an analysis of potential organizations for collaboration.

Attend trade shows, conferences and symposia quarterly to identify early-stage research with the potential to accelerate innovative solutions to complex DoD challenges.

Prepare OSI&A's monthly S&T Bulletin drawn from peer-reviewed scientific publications of novel global research findings aligned with USD(R&E)-defined critical technology areas.

Required Skills:

Shall have a combined five years' experience in the following: working in an S&T field; demonstrated experience in technical writing and content editing; ability to work independently and engage with vendors, scientists, and researchers to identify innovative technologies.

Desired Skills:

One or more years of experience in a technology innovation ecosystem and/or technology scouting. Demonstrated knowledge of DoD S&T initiatives, priorities, and governing activities.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in technical field required. Advanced degree desired in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or other related discipline desired.
