Application Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

Role Purpose – Responsible for Product establishment and Development project and create database for Market Penetration in the defined market through Application engineering for Steel Foundry business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for Application service and support for all kinds of SG refractory products come under Foundry Business.

2. Site supervision (supervision of installation of SG refractory products delivered and processed by the customer).

3. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations required for the activity at the respective sites.

4. Responsible for product establishment and development project and create a database for establishing the Techno-Commercial benefits to the customers

5. Co-ordination with different agencies internally & externally for Application Engineering work

6. Work on Business-centric & customer centric projects with technical report-making ability

7. Responsible for a Customer training program.

8. Close co-ordination with the Sales team for all development projects & for initial penetration of the market.

9. Keep track of production, competition & development activity for key customers

10. Responsible for customer support/customer visit/complaint handling and feedback from end to end, from root cause analysis and study to recommendation of corrective action

11. Technical proposal preparation of a refractory lining (material and installation costs, end-toend cost calculation) as well as cooperation in concept preparation for new applications/ furnaces

Qualifications

Bachelor/Diploma of Engineering (Metallurgy / Ceramics /Mechanical/ Adv Dip. In Fdy. Tech.)
