Agronomy Manager

We are excited to announce an exciting job opportunity as an Agronomy Manager at a highly profitable agricultural retailer in Central Kansas.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the profitability and day-to-day operations of the agronomy department, including customer needs, safety, planning and scheduling, marketing, business development, and more. As an integral part of the team, you will also provide recommendations for changes and improvements to drive growth. Additionally, you may also assist in other departments as needed. This role also has the potential for growth and advancement as a potential successor the current General Manager who will be retiring in the upcoming years.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience. A valid Commercial Driver's license and Commercial Pesticide Applicator License are also required. If you do not have these licenses, they will provide the necessary training and support for you to obtain them.

Furthermore, the company offers an attractive compensation package, including a base salary of $100K-$150K with the potential for bonuses, and 100% company-paid medical and dental benefits for employees and their dependents. Additionally, you will have access to a full benefits plan, pension, and 401K.
