We are seeking an experienced Material Planner to join our manufacturing company, with a primary focus on leveraging expertise in supply chain and logistics. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless material availability, inventory optimization, and supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Utilize extensive experience in supply chain and logistics to develop and execute material planning strategies that meet production requirements while minimizing costs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and warehousing, to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely material availability.

Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance to maintain a reliable supply chain and meet production schedules.

Analyze inventory levels, lead times, and demand patterns to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize inventory management processes.

Utilize ERP systems and other tools to track inventory levels, monitor material movement, and generate reports to support decision-making processes.

Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as supplier shortages or transportation disruptions, to minimize production disruptions and ensure on-time delivery to customers.

Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to supply chain and logistics, and incorporate relevant insights into material planning strategies.

Requirement:

At least 2 years of relevant professional experience

Experience with ERP and Supply Chain and Inventory Management software applications

Strong Excel skills

Degree in Supply Chan Management strongly preferred
