Overview

Specialty: Med Surg/Tele/Neuro/Stroke

Start Date: May 20, 2024

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (7:00pm - 7:30am)

48 hours per week

Ratios: 1:7

Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Travel Nurse RN - MS/Tele in Chesapeake, VA. The Travel Nurse RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit. The role involves assessing and monitoring patients, administering medications, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring patients' safety and comfort.

Qualifications

Active RN license

Experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry/Neuro/Stroke nursing

Must be EPIC proficient - No exceptions

IV Start, Telemetry Interpretation - Must have worked with neurology/stroke patients in the past - Required

2 years experience required, travel experience preferred

Compact or VA license in hand - No exceptions

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility and adaptability

BLS and ACLS certifications required via American Heart Association; NIHSS
