The Senior Program Coordinator, Policy Operations will be responsible for providing expert consultation and development of executive-level care coordination programs, internal and external communications protocols, and hospitality programs. This role involves advising top Agency executives and management officials on public and media reactions to proposed policies and/or Agency actions. The incumbent will utilize subject-matter-specific best practices and institutional knowledge to ensure effective coordination and communication within a highly-complex organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement executive-level care coordination programs and tools.

Establish internal and external communications protocols to inform the Agency and the public about relevant programs, policies, and services.

Advise top Agency executives and management officials on potential public and media reactions to proposed policies and actions.

Execute operational programs with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework within healthcare systems.

Lead initiatives and manage change within minimal-guidance environments, influencing others and navigating a highly-complex organization.

Demonstrate leadership qualities in ethics, integrity, stress tolerance, and adaptability.

Foster effective communication, develop others, and manage diverse teams through collaboration and group work.

Utilize expert power and communication skills to influence stakeholders.

Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiently.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare environment and/or hospitality services.

Bachelor’s degree or technical healthcare industry certification(s) are encouraged.

Exceptional verbal and written communication competencies.

Experience in executing operational programs.

In-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework in healthcare systems.

Proficient competencies in leading initiatives, leading self, and leading others.

Ability to influence through expert power and communication.

Proficient experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Active Secret Security Clearance.

Substitutions for education or experience are negotiable.

Additional Information:

This position may require travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and within the National Capital Region (NCR) to attend meetings, conferences, and trainings.

The contractor must develop and maintain an effective Quality Control (QC) program to ensure services are performed in accordance with the contract.

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
