The City of Santa Cruz is seeking a smart, savvy, experienced generalist to serve as its new Assistant City Manager. The ideal candidate will be politically astute, yet apolitical, and possess a strong background in City operations. As a representative of the City, the incumbent will ensure that a high level of customer service is provided to internal and external stakeholders in a positive, collaborative and professional manner. The new Assistant City Manager will not only possess exemplary leadership skills but will also embody the values of teamwork, collaboration and positivity. The City is looking for a candidate who can seamlessly integrate with our dynamic team and serve as a catalyst for bringing Citywide services together.
