Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Seasoned Experience: At least 5 years of service-oriented IT experience.

Security Clearance: An active USG TS SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with ICD 503, NIST 800-53r4/5, NIST 800-171R2, RMF, NISPOM Chapter 8, DCSA DAAPM 2.2.

Security Proficiency: A track record of conducting vulnerability scans, compliance audits, and managing IT security programs.

USG Authorization Insight: Extensive experience with the USG Assessment and Authorization process.

Technical Versatility: Proficient in creating environments using Windows, Linux, and VMWare products.

Problem-Solving Skills: Adept at tackling complex technical issues across multiple operating systems.

Cyber Security Tools: Solid experience with tools and services like vSphere, Active Directory Administration, SSSD, IIS, Windows Firewall/Firewalld, Certificate Authority, WSUS, Yum/Satellite.

Network Storage Acumen: Ability to assess the security controls of complex networks and systems.

Automation Skills: Experience in automating routine administrative tasks.

Communication Excellence: Strong abilities in writing proposals, procedures, and technical documentation.

Professional Attributes: Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills; a team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Recommended Qualifications:

Security Certification: Credentials like Security+, CISSP preferred.

Technical Certifications: RHEL, VMWare, Microsoft certifications are advantageous.

Networking Know-how: Some experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS configuration is beneficial.

Programming Proficiency: Ability to script in administrative languages such as Python, PowerShell, PowerCLI.

Software Familiarity: Understanding of ArcGIS suite including ArcInfo, ArcView, and ArcSDE.
