Lead Electrical Engineer

Title: Lead Electrical Engineer Location: Boston, MA (5-minute walk from South Station) Duration: Direct Hire Reports to: New England Division Manager SUMMARY: Our client, a national engineering firm, is searching for a Lead Electrical Engineer for their Boston office.

This permanent position requires 4 days onsite in Boston, working with a collaborative, fun loving and dedicated team.

As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you'll perform meticulous design and comprehensive analysis of building system projects across all stages of development.

Your primary goal will be to provide technical direction and mentorship to our team of electrical engineers and designers, including training, coaching and quality control.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Lighting control systems Power distribution Fire alarm design Electrical site plans Electrical calculations Field investigation Reviewing submittals REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) Degree from accredited college or university.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical design for building systems.

PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred.

Design experience using Autodesk Revit software for BIM (Building Information Modeling). Experience with SKM or ETAP - Systems Analysis Software.

Experience with field work and documentation of existing engineering conditions.

Experience communicating directly with clients.
