QA Technician (Day Shift)

Details:

Pay rate: $19/hour

Shift: Mon-Friday 7am to 4pm with one hour unpaid lunch break.

Temporary contract position with Raise with potential for fulltime with ADM.

Completion of Background Check required before offer.

Job Responsibilities:

Sample raw materials, in process good, and finished products to assure compliance to specifications

Perform sampling booth clearance using ATP technologies

Partner with warehouse, quality, and operations to ensure that good manufacturing practices, sanitation and pest control programs, procedures and systems are effectively monitored per policy requirements

Perform document control activities including, but not limited to, creating result reports, logging in samples, fill out sample logs and scale logs, and making sure all the logs and records are appropriately completed and maintained

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Education

Minimum – High School diploma

Experience

Experience in food industry

Experience in raw material sampling

Experience in material handling

Specific skills

Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds

Ability to perform a standing job for a full shift

Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for various periods of time

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

Ability to wear a respirator and hearing protection

Ability to take initiative to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment

Must have good attention to detail

Ability to differentiate subtle variances in color

Must wear safety shoes(company will not provide) and hard hat(company provided) in warehouse area

Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends

Fluent in English required, bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Must possess a valid US driver's license
