Essential Functions:

The Manufacturing Manager will lead all production execution activities across machining, fabrication, and assembly areas. The role leads, coaches, and develops all production team members, to create an engaged team environment. The Manufacturing Manager develops, leads, and drives Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People metrics throughout production, as defined by the Company. Other requirements include, not limited to, on-time delivery to customers, both internal and external, accountable for production actual vs. planned output, developing, driving, and sustaining a visual factory, 5S standards and continuous improvement activities.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

· Leads and drives daily stand-up meetings with Production Team Leaders to communicate standard information within the business, as well as align on daily priorities and focus.

· Assist with capacity and internal lead time planning based on manufacturing processes and capacity.

· Accountable for production output actual vs. planned. Responsible to implement corrective action plans to ensure targets are achieved or surpassed.

· Track and communicate planned vs. actual revenue per standard frequencies as defined.

· Develops and maintains transparent and clear communications to internal and external customers.

· Develops, drives and sustains a visual factory and 5S standards.

· Determines equipment, materials, and resources required to meet customer demand.

· Makes suggestions for process and safety improvements.

· Assists in new process and/or procedural development and enhancements.

· Implements best practices utilizing lean methodology.

· Must be able to coach and train employees, issue corrective action when required and monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.

· Develop, track, and continuously improve key performance indicators to drive accountability within the production team.

· Demonstrates a high level of professionalism including mutual trust and respect to all company team members.

· Provides excellent customer service for both internal and external customers.

· Generates ideas and initiates action to solve problems and continuously improve.

· Must comply with the company safety procedures, attendance, and punctuality policies, arriving to work every day on time and leading by example.

· Balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team environment; puts success of team above own interests; able to build morale and team commitments to goals and objectives; supports everyone's efforts to succeed.

· Recruits, hires, trains staff, evaluates team member performance, recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, and corrective action.

· Actively participates and supports company programs.

· Complies and encourages team members to follow all safety guidelines.

· Other duties as assigned as well as Laptop assigned. .

Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.

Experience and Background:

· 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in machining, fabrication and assembly environments.

· Proven, successful track record of leading a team of at least 75 team members.

· Experience in developing, leading and sustaining Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People key performance indicators (KPI’s) throughout production.

· Experience in leading and driving a facility start-up and/or transition is preferred.

· Passionate problem solving and creativity.

· Proficient in interpreting and understanding financial statements, along with budget development and management.

· Analytical ability to assist in developing revenue forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).

· Effective public speaking and high energy presentation skills.

· Demonstrated ability to work well with others and to participate in and/or lead a cross-functional team.

· Possess ability to drive for results, hold self and team accountable, and continuously improve.

Physical Requirements

The majority of the job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions, but the job will also require from time to time to visit the production floor and in the warehouse.Requirements:

Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
