As the Finance Director, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management and strategy.

From budgeting and forecasting to financial analysis and risk management, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

The role will be heavily involved in Financial Planning & Analysis, Leading the development of comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to support business objectives and drive profitability, Partnering with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives and identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvement.

It will oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, and providing transparent insights into the company's financial performance, assessing financial risks and opportunities, developing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and risk management protocols and building and leading a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning, and empowering team members to achieve their full potential.

To be considered, candidates will need to hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred, a proven track record of success in a senior finance leadership role, preferably within the retail industry or a related sector and extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Candidates will also possess strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations, excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have sound knowledge of local regulatory requirements and financial best practices in the UAE.
