Maintenance Supervisor The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for plant maintenance including facilities, utilities and operations to reduce downtime and assure peak plant efficiencies.

Will help direct capital engineering design and projects to completion and work with appropriate vendors.

This position will also have responsibility for the Maintenance team and their performance.

This role has a responsibility for ensuring both food safety and quality of product.

The responsibilities of this position include: * Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.

* Assists with planning and cost estimates for annual and longer-term capital budgets.

* Supervision of daily, weekly, monthly and semi-annual maintenance work including regular Preventive Maintenance and administer the PM Program to ensure compliance.

* Direct maintenance troubleshooting in conjunction with reporting staff, including all production related equipment, and off-shift restarting critical systems.

* Responsible for assisting in capital plans to include all engineering design and project management, working with both internal and external resources.

* Directs aspects of building operations including maintenance, repairs, and renovations * Establishes criteria for assessing the quality of work performed by employees and contractors.

* Support development of Critical Spare Parts requirements for computerized input and assuring proper storage and on hand balances.

* Supervises the completion of work through review of reports, frequent site inspections and conferences with operations and vendors regarding electrical & plumbing equipment, HVAC systems, electric motors, ventilating fans and electrical control units.

* Investigates the condition of buildings, equipment and grounds, and recommends improvements in the facilities to ensure that needs are met.

* Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with superb time management and project scheduling skills.

* Excellent administrative and follow-up skills to achieve successful maintenance and repair programs.

* Ability to lead a team and achieve results through resources.

Qualifications The requirements of this position include: * 5 years Supervisory experience in technical manufacturing with degree.

* 10 years Supervisory experience in technical manufacturing without degree * Must be computer literate; experienced in using computer software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

* Must be willing to work all shifts based on business needs.

* Proven track record of leadership effectiveness.

* Must understand PLC and logic controls for high-speed operating equipment.

* Must possess strong ability to negotiate and maximize effectiveness of resources and influence others.

* Prior experience using production environment SAP a plus.

* Serve as back up in the absence of Maintenance Manager
