Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Sabine Pass Terminal - Sabine Pass, TX Salary Range: Undisclosed Description Job Purpose / Summary With a vision to be the premier LNG exporter in North America, Golden Pass LNG is adding natural gas liquefaction and export capabilities to the existing LNG terminal.

Golden Pass LNG's mission is to bring clean energy from Texas to power the world.

To help enable this vision and mission, Golden Pass is seeking the expertise of an experienced Safety Advisor that will be responsible for supporting safety at all Golden Pass LNG locations including the Sabine Pass Terminal, Beaumont office, corporate office (Houston) and Pipeline locations.

The successful candidate will have a background in incident investigations, industry safety standards/current practices, safety trend analysis, and best management practices for minimizing potential safety and health risks.

Essential Duties / Functions to include, but not limited to: 1.

Assist in the development of site safety requirements as applicable 2.

Interpret requirements for scopes of work, plans, and methodologies for suitable safety obligations 3.

PHMSA and FERC operational regulatory oversight, and other related safety regulations 4.

Provide technical safety assistance to various departments 5.

Provide technical support to safety studies and assessments and other applicable safety and health reviews 6.

Participate in meetings, as required, with contractors to advise them of safety and health requirements 7.

Conduct safety inspections of multiple locations to monitor compliance with safety requirements 8.

Use of incident investigation and action tracking software including report preparation/submission 9.

Monitor effectiveness of safety management system 10.

Monthly SAP Work Order completion for safety related equipment checks 11.

Prepare and present various Safety related trainings 12.

Monthly Safety Meeting coordination 13.

Liaison between Terminal, Beaumont Office and Houston office on safety/regulatory matters 14.

On-Call duties, as required 15.

Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis activities Qualifications Minimum Requirements Minimum education required of the position.

* High School Diploma or GED * Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience Minimum experience required of the position.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Safety, Environmental, Health &/or Regulatory Compliance field in a petroleum or chemical manufacturing facility or an LNG facility is preferred.

* New operations design, start-up, and / or turnaround experience is a plus * Experience with PHMSA regulations is a plus Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position.

* Work in a fast-paced environment with evolving business demands and multiple priorities * Able to facilitate progression of a team through complex analysis or reviews leveraging effective interpersonal and communication skills * Leadership skills in being able to input individuals in a functional team without direct authority * An acute sensitivity to safety issues in a hazardous environment * Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication * Able to work with all levels of the organization whose cover the range required to engineer, operate and maintain the LNG terminal and Liquefaction production facilities * Organized, planning skills, able to manage multiple activities and programs in timely fashion and with a high degree of accuracy, able to meet work deadlines * Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills * Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Required Job Competencies of the position.
