The Team We are looking for a User Research Lead to join our Research Team as a maternity cover for a 1-year contract.

Research at Printify is a team of currently 4 professionals from different backgrounds and with different research superpowers.

The Role As a User Research Lead you will help us drive our customer experience strategy forward and nurture a culture of user-centric decision-making.

You will lead a team of 3 UX researchers to provide critical insights that will inform Printify’s product development and strategic decisions.

Your responsibilities:

Create and maintain alignment between research and the product teams, by defining and prioritizing the research needs;

Proactively guide and support strategic critical product and business decisions, using insights from the team;

Manage the operational aspects of research to support researchers in planning and conducting quality research at scale;

Execute strategies to enhance the research scalability and impact;

Ensure that Researchers leverage data analytics in combination with qualitative and quantitative research, to generate hypotheses, plan and deliver high-impact research;

Drive innovation by promoting new approaches to conducting research and socializing the research findings;

Enable non-researchers to conduct user research to support their decision-making on local initiatives within their individual product areas through various initiatives.

We expect you to have:

At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in leading a User research team, including directly managing, coaching and developing full-time researchers;

Experience building teams over time through hiring, growing, and retaining high-performing researchers;

Expert-level knowledge in the field of UX Research with a significant amount of experience in hands-on research - conducting primary research (either qualitative or quantitative) and end-to-end research (i.e., designing, fielding, analyzing and reporting the data);

Experience influencing and earning the trust of senior collaborators and moving business teams to take action;

Experience navigating and supporting teams through high ambiguity and rapid change;

Track record of translating research into business impact;

Strong written & verbal English communication skills.
