This role’s primary responsibility is assembling orders for customers. This will involve back up to shipping and inspecting all outbound packages and cross referencing with sales orders. In addition to outbound freight, internal orders will also need to be assembled with quality checks made. On average, those tasks will be approximately half of the workday, the other half will be spent working in Assembly. This department is responsible for any additional items to/for the order, such as attaching a neck ribbon, poly-bagging, etc and then boxing and packaging it appropriately so there is no room for damage while enroute to our customer(s). This individual will be expected to adhere to Medalcraft’s company goals and values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a leader and supporting the continued growth of the company.

When not performing shipping tasks, flex to the assembly area and work with the team correctly packaging up the product, adding any final packaging/assembly to the product while performing the final quality inspection before it is boxed up for shipment. Work with the Department Lead on any quality concerns, bringing forth ideas and solutions to make the situation better, or prevent from happening again. This may also include rejecting product and not performing final assembly, and not signing for inbound shipments if there is damage or problems with the packaging.
