The Project Analyst position is responsible for project planning and tracking, analyzing project data & monitoring project status and timelines, maintaining project documentation, providing operational support such as liaising with stakeholders, budgeting, capital planning & ordering, contract & vendor management, scribing outage calls, and contributing to the overall success of IT. This position will work effectively with other IT teams, corporate departments, vendors, business units, consultants, and service providers to ensure smooth operation and ensuring projects are scheduled and concluded on time. This position will ensure that the appropriate and timely communication of information and events occurs between the team and key stakeholders.

Position may be based at any of TEGNA's stations.

Responsibilities:

Manage ongoing project planning, building and maintaining project documentation, engagement with stakeholders.

Manage software and hardware purchases, renewals, contracts and licenses in ServiceNow.

Leverage relevant platforms (Oracle, ServiceNow, Jamf, Office 365, SCCM, Asignet, RingCentral) for reporting, ordering, tracking, and administration.

Handle hardware and software lifecycle management, contract renewals, new systems, and capital submission.

Manage and execute special projects.

React to changes positively, handle other essential tasks as assigned, and productively challenge the status quo as appropriate.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be substituted.

1-3 years of technical support experience.

Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or ITIL Foundation are preferred.

Demonstrated experience in project management or product rollout.

Experience with information and broadcast technology operations, ordering, and budgeting preferred.

Mid-level experience with Excel preferred.

Experience with ServiceNow, PowerBi and dashboarding a plus.

Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and presentation skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple complex tasks/projects and follow through to completion independently or as part of a team.

As a member of a service organization, ability to effectively communicate technical topics to various levels of internal customers and outside business partners.

Pay Range

$55,000—$80,000 USD
