Position: Quality Assurance/Quality Control Supervisor (QA/QC Supervisor) Reporting to: Construction Manager Location: Alberta and Ontario Company: CMI GROUP INC.

Position Summary: The QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for implementing CMI Group Inc.’s Quality Management System and executing Quality Control Processes and Procedures for the Project Site Construction Team.

Working closely with the HSQE Quality Manager, the QA/QC Supervisor develops and maintains the Construction Quality Plan and the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) throughout the project duration.

This position is 100% site-based and involves overseeing Quality Control inspection methods, Standardized Work Instructions, and Project Benchmarking.

Position Requirements: Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel Ability to travel with a valid passport (Canada and USA) Primary Responsibilities Collaborate with the Project Management Team to communicate Quality, Policies, and Procedures to the entire Project Team.

Prepare the Project Construction Quality Plan to meet project-specific requirements.

Implement and track the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and ensure updates to Benchmarks and Inspection Forms.

Oversee the implementation of Quality Controls with Production crews.

Manage all Project QC inspections and verify compliance with the Construction Quality Plan.

Identify and report potential Quality Issues or Incidents and exercise STOP Work Authority.

Report all project Non-Conformances as per established processes.

Provide Quality oversight to Sub-Contracted works to ensure compliance with Quality Standards.

Conduct post-scope reviews and identify Lessons Learned.

Provide routine reports on project quality status and metrics to Project and Corporate Leadership.

Follow Safety and Environmental Protocols and report unsafe conditions.

Present, support, and lead-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.

Assist in training project personnel to perform QC inspections.

Attend all required meetings and communicate Quality Issues and resolutions to the Project Client when required.

Qualifications Education and Experience: High school/GED required Bachelor’s degree in civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred 2+ years of Renewable Energy experience performing QA/QC audits, with experience in large industrial/solar or wind construction projects 2+ years of experience in Substations, BESS, and MV Collection Systems Valid Driver’s License Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong communication and relationship-building skills QA/QC experience on Renewable Energy Construction sites Intermediate level of knowledge in General construction, Safety, and Environmental concepts Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and Procore or other Project Management Software Basic understanding of Sub-contractor and vendor management, Civil construction, Electrical construction, and Mechanical construction fundamentals Functional competencies include attention to detail, accountability, prioritization, customer focus, and communication.
