Position: Journeyman Electrician Reporting to: Master Electrician Location: Alberta and Ontario Company: CMI GROUP INC.

Position Summary: The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems on Solar Farms, Battery Storage, and Substation construction sites.

This role requires expertise in LV cable installation, terminations, and compliance with safety regulations.

Position Requirements: Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel (100 percent travelling) Ability to travel with a valid passport (Canada and USA) Journeyman Certification Primary Responsibilities: Install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools.

Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.

Follow drawings to determine the location of wiring and equipment, ensuring conformance to building and safety codes.

Use a variety of tools and equipment including power construction equipment, measuring devices, and testing equipment.

Installs ground leads and connect power cables to equipment.

Represent the company to meet contractual requirements and ensure safety standards are met.

Follows any other job-related duties/functions requested by the supervisor.

Operate equipment such as Mini Ex and Skid steer.

Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled, or expected.

Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.

Presents, supports, and leads by example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.

Available for mandatory overtime on a weekly basis Qualifications Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED Required.

Journeyman Certification Required.

5+ Years of experience in heavy Industrial Electrical Work Required.

Valid Driver’s License Required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to Travel (75-100 percent) Ability to demonstrate knowledge of various wiring methods including Control Wiring SCADA/PLC.

LV terms and the ability to read schematics/wiring drawings.

Medium Voltage Cabling Terminations is a plus (not required). Ability to operate vehicles and equipment associated with the electrical trade.

Familiarity with safety rules, provincial health and safety legislation as well as OHSA, and first aid procedures.
