The Role

Sofina Foods EU are looking for General Operatives to join our production team at the Callan Bacon site on the afternoon shift.

Operatives will be responsible for the manufacturing of pork and bacon products to the highest level of hygiene, health, safety and quality standards for our customers.

Full onsite training will be provided to enable employees to become a fully skilled team members.

Pay: €13.00/hour

Hours: 2.30pm-11pm Monday - Thursday & 1.30pm-9pm Friday

Key Accountabilities

Members of the production team will work on different production lines of various speeds and complexity.

Ensure production machinery is operated in accordance with food safety, health, and safety procedures.

Be familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team to set up the line, complete checks and ensuring materials are ready to use.

Perform all pre start, hygiene and safety checks as directed.

Skills and Experience Required

Must be able to work for extended periods in a cold environment.

Stand for 4+ hours and be able to move around the factory floor without assistance.
