About the Job

Sigma Defense is currently seeking a former Surface Warfare Officer with extensive Air & Ballistic Missile Defense (AD/BMD) experience to join our Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) Team in Dahlgren, VA, as an Air Defense & Ballistic Missile (AD/BMD) Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years in the AD/BMD Mission Area and be a qualified Tactical Action Officer or BMD Watch Officer with at least 3 years of experience. This role requires leveraging unique skill sets developed throughout your Naval Career to enhance warfighting readiness and increase the lethality and tactical proficiency of the Surface Force. Key responsibilities include supporting SMWDC Headquarters and making direct contributions to warfare training enhancement. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, hold an active DoD-issued TS/SCI security clearance, and have experience onboard an AEGIS DDG and/or CG.
