About the Job
Sigma Defense Systems is currently seeking a Computer Scientist to support Army Network Modernization at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This role involves leveraging data and applying expert technical knowledge to develop and test new network software, evaluate software updates, and perform trend analysis to create solutions for the customer. The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of broad computer science computation theory, coding skills (Python, C++, Ruby, Perl), algorithms, and cyber security expertise. Experience in on-premise and cloud networking, as well as Agile software development practices, is required. This contingent position is pending contract award, with a targeted determination for 2025. The selected candidate will need to travel to U.S. Army bases CONUS and OCONUS 20% of the time.
