Position Summary

The Information Technology department at US Fertility is seeking an experienced Asset Management Administrator to join the team. This individual is responsible for the asset lifecycle management including purchasing, deployment/redeployment, management, retirement, and governance of USF assets.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a combination of attention to detail, organization, analytical skills, and the ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders. The candidate has expertise in asset management, endpoint management systems (i.e. Microsoft InTune, SCCM, Manage Engine products, and JAMF), and is comfortable administering all aspects of IT asset management including purchasing, asset tracking, endpoint inventory management, imaging, and decommissioning.

This role works closely with our desktop engineering, human resources, and information security teams and plays a key role in facilitating the organization’s rapid growth by ensuring the efficient and effective use of IT assets. This position will also assist with endpoint management and site integration work including new site buildout, site moves, and mergers and acquisitions.

Our current opportunity is based in Rockville, MD with in-office work required. After successful onboarding, some hybrid/remote work may be approved. Some travel is required. This position will report to the Manager of Enterprise Services.

Duties and Responsibilities

Administers the IT asset management (ITAM) program in partnership with the Manager of Enterprise Services, inclusive of procedures, processes, and controls for inventory management, licensing, maintenance, and disposal

Partners with technical and non-technical stakeholders for the procurement of new IT assets and disposition of legacy assets to establish appropriate controls and processes for preserving an accurate and dynamic enterprise asset inventory

Monitors the organization's IT assets to ensure they are being used appropriately and provides regular reports on their usage

Works with other technical and non-technical departments to ensure that IT assets are being used efficiently and effectively

Maintains USF’s database/system of record for assets (e.g., software, hardware) and configuration management (CMDB), ensuring that the records are accurate and up-to-date

Leads the design and oversees the execution of standards and operational processes for configuration management

Leads the ongoing buildout of configuration information to support IT Service Management and Information Security processes (e.g., incident, problem, technical change, release management, risk management)

Proactively identifies opportunities for simplification, cost savings, risk-reduction, and efficiency across USF’s technology/assets

Serves as the primary administrator of enterprise asset management solutions, actively leading the design and experience for IT and non-IT users

Supervise the asset management process to ensure consistency and application of best practices

Recommend and execute on initiatives geared toward departmental process improvement

Perform systems administration duties including permission assignment, password management and access control

Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and site moves/setup tasks

Communicate with other Information Technology resources and vendor support teams to escalate advanced issues and ensure swift resolution

Maintain current knowledge of technological trends and news relevant to hardware, software, training, and processes of the Information Technology department

Understand, comply with, and enforce USF policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and OSHA and HIPAA privacy rules

Adhere to and uphold all applicable federal and state compliance regulations as well as USF’s Code of Conduct and Employee Handbook, compliance policies and procedures, and applicable healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse laws

All other duties as assigned

Education

Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.

Qualifications and Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities represented below:

· College degree and appropriate technical certifications are preferred (ITIL, etc)

· 4+ years of experience in an asset management role

· 4+ years of experience with image deployment systems in an enterprise scale Windows environment

· 3+ years of experience purchasing IT equipment

· Demonstrated experience designing, supporting, and continuously improving IT asset repositories

· Demonstrated experience implementing and administering an enterprise level asset management system, tools for IT asset management, discovery, and automation/workflow capabilities

· Experience in influencing IT staff of all levels to adopt ITAM standards, processes, and controls

· Experience with business process reengineering to achieve performance improvement outcomes

· Strong service orientation, and an understanding of the importance of developing effective working relationships with users and organizational stakeholders of all levels

· Experience with Macs/Jamf

· Highly motivated, analytical, organized, and efficient

· Ability to think critically and solve complex issues

· Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize across multiple projects and deadlines

· Experience working with confidential information such as HIPPA, SOX, and financial data

· Ability to work after hours, weekend and on-call work as necessary

· Ability to travel domestically (up to 20%)

· Requires some physical labor; must be able to lift 40lbs
