Civil Engineer

Job Description

To plan construction and engineering projects for federal and private construction. Calculate cost and determine feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data by applying principles of civil engineering and engineering software. Estimate quantities and Cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine Project Feasibility. Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards as per Federal Regulations and Contract Specifications. Responsible for Construction and Budget Estimating, using Timberline, for measuring concrete, masonry, and other construction work. Direct the Construction, Operations, or Maintenance activities at project sites using Project Management Software Proj-Net and Primavera P6. Must have knowledge of Primavera 6, AutoCAD, Pro-Net and Timberline. The position is to serve as a Civil Engineer under the supervision of Vice President Field Operations & Construction. Must have a Master’s Degree or Foreign Equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering Management or Construction Management. No telecommuting and remote access.
