Marzetti is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The Warehouse Supervisor's responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, preparing relevant documentation, supporting production activities.

Responsibilities

Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.

Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.

Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.

Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels to support production.

Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.

Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.

Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.

Communicates effectively – verbally & in writing - with employees, management, vendors and drivers.

Regularly reviews and approves employee hours and attendance infractions using Kronos time management software.

Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Ensures compliance OSHA, state and local regulations among shipping personnel.

Ensures compliance to quality, food safety and HAACP support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer and government standard..

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required.

Degree in business, management, logistics or a related field preferred.

Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.

Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.

Time management skills and the ability to delegate.

Excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.

Experience in a union manufacturing environment.

ERP/WMS Experience preferred

Working Conditions/Environment

Works in a manufacturing environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, read, sit, stand, walk, climb, crouch, lift, reach, grasp and bend while moving about the facility. Must be able to move 50 pounds a distance of 25 feet or more at various frequencies and or intervals. Must be able to stand for an 8–10 hours shift (sometimes longer) with regular breaks while performing repetitive tasks. May be required to work overtime as needed. The employee may be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors, moving parts/equipment. The noise level is loud in the plant. Ear protection, eye/face protection, hair/beard nets, steel-toed/slip-resistant shoes, and gloves are required as necessary in accordance with company GMP and safety standards.
