The Warehouse Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing warehouse personnel and the processes and workflows related to receiving and shipping.
The job will require the individual to spend 60 percent of their time on the warehouse floor and 40 percent at a desk. The Warehouse Operations Coordinator must have a strong desire to design, build, and implement new workflows and have strong communication and leadership skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate IGF warehousing activities related to product receiving, handling, storage, and shipping
Lead the design and development of new processes, workflows, and team structure with emphasis on improvements that enhance efficiency, leverage new technology, and create verifiable, repeatable, metric-based practices
Oversee the captains’ team management practices, including employee vetting, hiring, training, scheduling, work assignments, termination, performance reviews, disciplinary and corrective actions, and continuous improvement
Coordinate with department leaders and team members to design and implement departmental objectives, policies, and procedures
Coordinate with other warehouse and deliveries/logistics functions, including administrative, facilities, and safety activities
Coordinate with product transfers, supporting the movement of product within and between IGF facilities to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency
Oversee third-party relationships
Manage budgeting to ensure fiscal responsibility; gather and analyze warehouse performance to measure productivity, assess progress toward budgetary goals, cost reduction, and efficiency gains
Work closely the other coordinators, directors, and members of the IGF executive team to participate in regular management reviews geared toward continuous process improvement
Perform other duties as assignedQualifications (Required)
Experience in human resources management
Experience in distribution, logistics, and warehousing or comparable fields
Project management and team leadership experience
Flexible to accommodate other perspectives
Proactive, quick-thinking, problem-solving approach to work
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, changing gears when required, whether multitasking or adapting working hours
Creative; open to new ideas and concepts
Excellent analytical, communication, organization, and data-entry skills with keen focus on relationship building across branches and departments
Strong attention to detail and written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and leadership skills
Proficiency in M365, especially Excel, Forms, Outlook, Planner, SharePoint, Teams, and Word
