Nayyara Dawood MD Pediatrics is a Pediatric Medical business in San Jose, CA. We are professional, caring and efficient. Our goal is to Provide comprehensive Pediatric Care to our patients in a very efficient and very pleasant and cheerful manner so the patient visits are easy on the patients and the parents .Our work environment includes Work-from-home days and Growth opportunities.

FRONT OFFICE

1. Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient pre visit process and

2. Assist with in office workflow: intake, patient rooming and treatment

3. Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records and assist with filling forms.

4. Provide patient education on medication instructions, diet, and lifestyle modifications.

5. Complete referrals to specialists efficiently as per practice protocols

6. Complete forms for patients: school forms

BACK OFFICE

7. Take and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse,

8. Measurements: height, weight, head circumference

9. Procedures: Need to be trained or willing to train to do Hearing and Vision Screening

10. Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers

11. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures

12. Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring.

13. Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care

14. Scribe for the doctor when needed

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma or equivalent/ or higher required

2. Completion of a medical assisting program preferred

3. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic life support techniques: CPR certified and current

4. Proficiency in medication administration and performing vital signs measurements.

5. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred

6. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members

7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 8. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS:

Anatomy knowledge, Medication administration, Vital signs, Nebulizer therapy, Basic life support, Coding: Preferred- Medical terminology, Immunization: administering shots preferred.

Compensation will be based on experience

Pay Scale/Ranges:

$18.00-$24.00/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*

*Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience. The patey scale/ranges shown are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
