Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Reviewing markups and draw details in CAD.

Implement and reinforce CAD standards within the company.

Pick up redlines utilizing AutoCAD and Revit for different engineering fields.

Coordinate with engineers and make sure markups are being addressed properly and resolve any discrepancies.

Prepare design and construction submission package.

Coordinate and attend meetings when required to meet client’s CAD expectations.

Assist the engineers with any CAD, drafting need.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

Technical and/or Associate's Degree

2+ years of experience

Member of professional practice organization

Professional Draftsman

Strong analytical and communications skills

Knowledge of basics of Drafting techniques, developing sections.

Ability to design in AutoCAD and Revit.

Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary engineering team on multiple projects.

Knowledge in local and national codes and standards

Ability to coordinate with other disciplines and projects
