MECKLEY SERVICES IS LOOKING FOR A COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION NIGHT SHIFT SUPERINTENDENT WHO HAS A FUNDAMENTAL KNOWLEDGE OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL COST AND FUNDAMENTAL KNOWLEDGE OF DIVISIONS: CONCRETE, MASONRY, CARPENTRY, ROOFING, DOORS, FRAMES AND HARDWARE, PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, AND BASIC UTILITIES/EXCAVATION.
Our superintendent works nights and weekends as needed. Our average superintendent makes $100K with OT.
Responsibilities:
Manage commercial interior and exterior renovation work. Small project renovation experience a plus.
In charge of management of electrical, plumbing, and concrete throughout the project
Client and Sub-Contractor coordination
Permit tracking and closeout management
Change-order Logs and Sub-contract Change-order tracking
RFI and submitting and tracking Job Cost Reporting - Project Close-Out
Prepare cost estimates based on information collected by others.
Qualifications:
A Superintendent should have fundamental knowledge of construction material cost and fundamental knowledge of Divisions: Concrete, Masonry, Carpentry, Roofing, Doors, Frames and Hardware, Plumbing, Electrical, and Basic Utilities/Excavation
Minimum 5 years in Commercial Service Management Industry
Ability to be flexible to adjust to changing conditions and the needs of our customers.
Good communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills required.
Proficiency in reading Blueprints
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to successfully complete and pass a criminal background screening, drug test, and driver's license check.
