Mid-Level Tax & Accounting Associate

Job Description

Experienced Tax and Accounting professional with 3+ years in the following areas:

Preparation of tax returns for individuals, fiduciaries, partnerships, corporations, and closely held businesses (1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S)

Preparation of tax planning and projections for all applicable entities

Research and respond to Federal and State tax notices

Analyze general ledger accounts as part of overall work paper preparation

Preparation of workpapers to support tax returns and compiled and reviewed financial statements

Perform compilations and reviews of client’s financial statements on GAAP and tax basis

Qualifications:

3+ years in tax preparation and workpaper preparation

BS Accounting

CPA License a plus

USA work authorization

Proficient with tax preparation software (ProSystem FX, preferred), accounting software (Sage/Peachtree and QuickBooks Online preferred) and strong Excel Skills

Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information

Starting Salary between $60,000 and $70,000 with bonuses and increases commensurate with experience and performance.
