As the Scheduling Coordinator (Administrative Assistant III) with the Interventional Radiology Consultation Center you will be responsible for coordinating patient scheduling and communication with the referring physicians.

It is expected that you will collaborate closely with various departments, including PRFS for financial inquiries, VIR and CSIR procedure schedulers for scheduling logistics.

Additionally, you will manage administrative tasks such as updating patient information in Care Connect, confirming insurance authorizations and maintaining patient charts while actively participating in clinic patient flow and quality improvement initiatives.

Salary Range: $28.23 - $40.44 Hourly Job Qualifications Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility * Familiarity with Radiology scheduling, Care Connect system and clinic scheduling procedures - preferred * Demonstratable knowledge of medical terminology with the ability to distinguish between radiology exams (i.e.

CT, MRI, US, XR), and types of interventional radiology procedures * Ability to handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy * Working knowledge of insurance and authorization processes * Excellent phone and customer service skills.

* Capability to explain services and scheduling processes to patients and their families * Experience with varied computer software and hardware including word processing, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations, practices, and procedures to define the problem, identify relevant concerns or factors, identify patterns, tendencies, formulate logical and objective conclusions and recognize alternatives and their implications
