Our client, a 120+ year old company out of Chicago (originally) is bringing on Outside Sales Representatives in the Reading, PA area. This role is an amazing one for someone coming into sales, wanting to get back into sales, or just loves outside sales in general. The client offers to their customers in the restaurant, event, commercial spaces, and grocery spaces (90,000+ customers) both PRODUCTS and SERVICES.

This role has a LOT of autonomy, the ability to navigate your own territory and schedule, and also to have built-in support from leadership when needed. (The role is "remote" in the sense that you do not have an office to report into.) You'll receive extensive, paid training, so exact experience is not needed.

So:

Are you a champion at building and maintaining a sales funnel?

Do you love being out in the field, talking to people, and making cold calls?

Key Job Responsibilities:

Executing 15+ in-person sales contacts every day / 60 each week.

Leaving a minimum of 8 knife trials with prospective customers each week.

Establishing a minimum of 6 new customers each week.

Cold-calling, networking, social media prospecting, and lead execution for new business.

Maintaining accurate and detailed records in Salesforce.

Maintaining an accurate inventory of products (knives).

Working effectively with all service and support team members, including RSM's.

Performing all duties safely (knife handling, operating company vehicles, being inside commercial kitchens).

Maintaining a company vehicle (work use only).

Compensation:

$50,000 / year annual salary plus UNCAPPED commissions

OTE on average is $80k - $85k, with some reps into the $95k range.

Guaranteed commissions while in training.

Requirements:

Have a valid driver’s license and pass and periodic MVR requirements outlined in Fleet Safety Program.

Able to drive for long periods daily.

Pass a pre-employment drug and background test.

NO degree requirements; Bachelor's degree preferred but not needed.

2 years' experience in sales is ideal, not required.
