Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine patient needs.

Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and abilities.

Provide speech therapy interventions focused on improving communication and swallowing abilities.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care.

Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued progress.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in speech pathology through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and state licensure in Virginia.

1 year of experience in speech therapy, with a preference for home health or related settings.

Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in relevant software and tools for documentation.

Working Conditions:

This position requires travel to patients' homes in Northern Virginia
