Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

This Intern position...

Provides direct patient care in accordance with the applicable scope and standards of practice, policies, values, and mission of SCA Health.

Adheres to the SCA Health non-negotiable patient harm prevention policies and practices

Monitors and manages the patient and environment during care to maintain a safe environment, optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

Students that have met the required skills checkoffs within their clinical lab, may complete extended scope CNA tasks as is appropriate with facility policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Required educational requirements: HS diploma or GED

Must be a current college student pursuing a pre-medical education track

Successful completion of Basic Life Support certification
