HVAC Install Helper / Apprentice

Overview:

F.H. Furr, a renowned leader in residential services, is starting a month-long HVAC Install class starting on March 18th, 2024. We are looking for looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn the HVAC trade. Our month-long training class will introduce you to the HVAC field and provide you with hands-on experience both in our training lab and in the field with skilled technicians to complete your training. This program is designed for a maximum of 3 individuals.

Our HVAC Install Helper class will teach candidates how to:

Install HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications

Learn basic electricity as it pertains to HVAC units

Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing

Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in homes

Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment

Qualifications:

Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and have a good driving record

High school diploma (or GED)

Strong decision-making abilities

Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction

Meet all attendance and dependability requirements

Team player

Training:

We are starting a month-long training class starting on March 18th, 2024.

F.H. Furr will provide all the training required for this position

Compensation:

Paid weekly
