Intelligence Analyst (Technical Targeting)

Maxar is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join a multi-disciplinary team of technologies, analysts, and data engineers to better enable the mission and rapidly develop new tools and capabilities. The Intelligence Analyst is expected to possess a mix of skills traditionally associated with Data Scientists and Technical Targeting Officers. The Intelligence Analyst serves a bridge between analytical requirements and technical solutions.

Work Locations: Springfield, VA (customer site - preferred); OR, Ft. Liberty, NC (customer site)

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to obtain a CI polygraph

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

Minimum five (5) years of experience as an Intelligence Analyst, Targeting Officer, Technical Targeting Officer, or similar with special emphasis on:

Pattern of Life or Area Characterization

F3EA (Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze)

Commercially Available Data (CAI) or Publicly Available Data (PAI)

Experience leading the development of analytical tools to include:

Gathering requirements and distilling into project plans

Leading a small team of developers to build web-facing tools for users

Experience using Gitlab

Experience with coding (Python, SQL, Pyspark)

Experience creating new and innovative analytical workflows and methodologies

In-dept knowledge of technical data types based on previous research and work datasets of interest. Data types include:

Technical Telemetry Data

Computer Network Cyber Data

Telecommunication Protocol Data types (cellular, wi-fi, and ethernet)

Experience working with targeting tools and databases

Must have experience working directly with JSOC, being a part of JSOC, or working directly with Special Operations Forces

Willingness to work onsite at Springfield, VA (preferred) or Ft. Liberty, NC

Preferred Skills:

Comfortable briefing senior leaders

Comfortable leading small, highly technical teams

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:$115,000.00 - $191,000.00 annually.
