We're seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Transmission System Analyst to join our team.

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our transmission network.

Responsibilities: * Electrical System Analysis and Protection Studies: * Conduct thorough electrical transmission system analysis and protection system studies.

* Modeling Transmission System Topology: * Utilize ASPEN OneLiner to accurately model transmission system topology.

* Cover lines, generators, and transformers across Medium, High, and Extra High Voltages.

* Develop relay settings for both existing and new transmission line and station protection schemes.

* System-Wide Protection Standards: * Collaborate with our team to develop system-wide protection standards.

* Focus on transmission and distribution station protection, metering, and control applications.

* NERC Compliance: * Dive into activities related to NERC PC standards.

* Ensure our operations align with industry regulations.

* Dive into the intricacies of our grid, identifying vulnerabilities and proposing solutions to enhance reliability.

Essential Job Functions: * Technical Proficiency: * Demonstrate an intermediate level of ability to handle complex technical assignments.

* Leadership and Guidance: * Lead, facilitate, and coordinate work activities within the team.

* Ensure adherence to company policies, practices, standards, and rules.

* Planning and Organization: * Organize planning meetings for scheduling operations and equipment maintenance.

* Keep an eye on material and equipment performance trends, initiating corrective actions as needed.

* Problem-Solving Initiative: * Independently identify and resolve complex problems.

* Continuously expand your knowledge in the field.

* Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills: * Prepare clear and concise technical reports.

* Lead meetings effectively, functioning as both a team leader and a collaborative member.

* Network with peers both within and outside the System.

* Decision Making and Business Awareness: * Make informed decisions even in the absence of a definite framework.

* Analyze options and risks, considering conflicting interests.

* Understand competitive position and contribute directly to achieving organizational goals.

* Understand the interrelationship between systems and component equipment within your area of expertise.

Skills & Qualifications: * Education: This is an entry-level position for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering accredited by ABET.

* Software Experience: Familiarity with ASPEN Software is highly valuable.

* Preferred Qualifications: * Electrical Engineering knowledge is preferred.

* Minimum of two years of related experience in work activities requiring the application of engineering technology principles.
